West Hartford Women in Networking holds monthly meetings for women interested in connecting with other women. Our meetings offer a combination of Networking, Support, Education and Fun!
Today's speaker will be Susan Schoenberger, Director of Communications at Hartford Seminary. We will also have time for Introductions, Networking, group discussions and breakfast treats!
Hartford Seminary is known around the world as a unique interfaith institution that does the important work of dialogue and peacebuilding. Susan will talk about the Seminary’s history and the opportunities it offers, from its landmark architecture to its free public programming on all sorts of fascinating topics. Bring your questions! She will also talk briefly about her work as an author and her next book, The Liability of Love, which is set in 1980s Hartford.
Susan Schoenberger of West Hartford serves as the Director of Communications at Hartford Seminary, an independent graduate school serving Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and other students. She worked as a journalist and copyeditor for many years, including at The Hartford Courant. She is also the award-winning author of of two published novels and one forthcoming in 2021.
