Event Description:
New England Ballet Theatre's Season 6 opens in October with "Firebird," a vivid reimagining of the iconic ballet set to Igor Stravinsky’s groundbreaking score. NEBT’s take on this magical tale of courage, enchantment, and transformation will be preceded by a series of shorter ballets celebrating Connecticut’s rich and vibrant ballet history, including works by Tracy Dorman, Michael Uthoff, and Christopher Fleming. The evening will also feature a new work performed by the talented dancers of The School of New England Ballet Theatre’s Performance Ensemble.
